Getting to the Gate: Birmingham City

Bristol City return to Ashton Gate on Friday to take on Birmingham City in the Sky Bet Championship (February 7th, 7.45pm KO).

Here's the key travel information ahead of the fixture.

  • Cumberland Road is closed to traffic between Avon Crescent and Mardyke Ferry Road. Pedestrians and cyclists can still pass on the north pavement but drivers are advised to plan an alternative route and allow additional time for their journeys. Metrobus M2 route has been diverted via Coronation Road and the A370 with Ashton Gate stop being replaced by a temporary stop at Clift Road.   • An additional train will call at Parson Street station at 23.06 heading to Worle and Weston-Super-Mare
  • M5 Junction 15 exit slip-road to M4 (Almondsbury interchange) will be closed from 10pm. Diversions will be in place or fans heading eastwards can consider leaving via the city centre and M32
  • Fans are encouraged to save money and reduce their impact on the environment by using the new Liftshare icon on www.bcfc.co.uk/travel
