Get on track for adrenaline days out at Castle Combe Circuit

Nestled away in Wiltshire’s stunning countryside just a 40-minute drive from Ashton Gate stadium lies Castle Combe Circuit – the West Country’s home of motorsport that’s currently gearing up for another year of non-stop entertainment!

Famous for its array of acclaimed shows, race days, driving experience courses and public track days, there’s something to keep every petrolhead grinning from ear-to-ear here – whether it’s two wheels, four wheels, driving your own car or watching the pros from the side-lines.

THE RACE IS ON

Each year, the high-speed 1.85-mile track plays host to a number of competitive racing events that sees everything from vintage motorcycles to cutting-edge single-seater race cars taking to the starting grid for a dose of head-to-head excitement.

Firm favourites on the calendar include Howard’s Day (April 22nd), the Motorcycle Grand National (August 31st) and the Autumn Classic historic meeting (October 5th).

Admission to all race days starts from £15 per adult, with under-17s going free.

SHOW TIME

If you prefer to soak up the world of performance cars and bikes without the competitive edge that comes with racing, the venue’s array of shows and Action Days might just be for you.

Revolving around tyre-shredding drifting demonstrations, vast car club display areas and even affordable public track time slots, this diverse range of events is perfect for those looking for a petrol-powered day out.

From Pure Ford (April 27th) that celebrates cars which sport that iconic blue oval badge through to JDMCombe (June 1st) that focuses on sporty Japanese metal, there’s a show for every corner of the extensive motoring world.

TAKE CONTROL

It’s all very well watching the action from the other side of the fence, but what about if you’ve got a craving to get strapped in behind the wheel yourself? Don’t worry, Castle Combe has you covered with its range of leading Driving Experiences!

With everything from a fleet of Ford hot hatches in the Driving Experience Course all the way through to none other than a fully-fledged single seat race car in the Ultimate Driving Experience just waiting to be piloted, you’ll be able to learn the finer details of this thrilling circuit with the help of a qualified instructor.

Prices for Driving Experiences start from as little as £110, making them the perfect gift for a loved one!

A DAY TO REMEMBER

Fancy testing the limits of your own car or bike? Our car-and bike-specific track days are held throughout the year and offer a safe and exhilarating environment to enjoy the circuit in.

Running in a full-day format and with free instruction from qualified ex-racing drivers available, a track day certainly won’t be something you forget in a hurry.

Make sure you check out Castle Combe Circuit’s official website – www.castlecombecircuit.co.uk – for the full calendar of events that are set to take place in the coming months.

Castle Combe Circuit have partnered with Bristol City for the remainder of the 2018/19 season.
