Aoife Mannion's seventy-fifth minutes strike for Birmingham City Women ended Bristol City Women's unbeaten start to the FAWSL season at the SGS College Stoke Gifford Stadium.
The Birmingham City Women defender had earlier seen her penalty saved by Sophie Baggaley, but her long range effort was enough to see Marc Skinner's side claim their fourth one-nil win of the season and leave the West Country with all three points.
Season Tickets for the 2022/23 campaign are selling at a record pace, with more than 9,000 supporters already committed.
