Bristol City Community Trust will host an education open evening at Ashton Gate on Monday (November 19th) as they start to accept applications for the 2019/20 academic year.
The club's official charity has continually grown in strength and capacity and can now enable learners to develop life skills, maximise career choices and opportunities through carefully designed qualifications, no matter what their academic or practical level.
Subsequently, the Trust attract and accept a variety of students on to each of their courses, which range from post-16 to degree level.

- Fnd in Community Sports Coaching and Development (University of South Wales)
- Fnd in Community Football Coaching and Development (University of South Wales)
- BTEC Level 3 in Sport - Boys Futsal Programme (Ashton Park School)
- BTEC Level 3 in Sport - Girls Futsal Programme (Ashton Park School)
- BTEC Level 3 in Sport - Tennis Coaching Scholarship (Ashton Park School)
- BTEC Level 3 in Sport and Creative Media (Boomsatsuma/Cabot Learning Foundation)
- BTEC Level 3 in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship
- BTEC Level 3 in Sport - Boys and Girls Football Programme (Merchants Academy)
- BTEC Level 2 in Sport - Boys and Girls Football Coaching Programe (Bridgwater and Taunton College)
The open evening will commence at 7pm and includes a welcome talk from the head of education Chris Stenner, followed by a detailed presentation on each course.
Prospective students will then have the chance to talk to the sports lecturers on a one-to-one basis, answering any further questions they may have.
Each course, whether it be delivered off-site or at Ashton Gate, will have purpose-built facilities available, meaning the programmes provide a unique opportunity for students to kick-start their career in the sports industry.
Once the respective courses draw to a close, a number of exit routes available, with the most common being university, job opportunities, American scholarships and apprenticeships.
