Luke Freeman wins Match of the Day magazine League One Player of the Year award.
City’s attacker claimed the honour with 57% of the vote, beating Football League Player of the Year for League One Joe Garner and hot prospect Dele Alli.
The Match of the Day Football League Awards are voted for by fans through the website, with thousands voting this year.
On the accolade, Freeman said: “It’s pleasing to get noticed for what you do on the pitch – the award will definitely go on my mantelpiece.
“Hopefully I’ll have a few more awards to put up there in the next couple of years!”
The 23-year-old was part of a City squad that claimed their first title in 60 years and were victorious in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
Winning the double in his first season at the club was a proud moment for Freeman.
“To do that in my first season here was a massive highlight,” he said.
“I can’t wait to play at a new level now – we’re quietly confident for next season!”
