Free Season Card For Oskar

Bristol City have handed the Football League’s Supporter of the Year, Oskar Pycroft, a free season card for 2016/17.

Fresh from collecting his honour at the glitzy dinner in Manchester, seven-year-old Oskar was able to show off his award to supporters at Ashton Gate before the clash with Derby County.

And as a further reward, the club has decided to give the popular supporter his season card for the new campaign – when City hope to be playing Sky Bet Championship football once more – free of charge.

Oskar beat off competition from supporters of Colchester United and Yeovil Town to land his national award on Sunday.

Oskar, who has cerebral palsy, never misses a City home match and after winning a long battle to walk, he fulfilled a lifelong dream of leading out his beloved team at Ashton Gate for a game against Preston North End in January.

His inspirational story has won support from fans of all corners of the Football League, including local rivals Bristol Rovers who helped to raise money for his operation to help him walk.
