Frankie Brown signs new contract with City Women

Bristol City Women are delighted to announce that Frankie Brown has signed a new contract with the club.

Brown, 29, joined City Women in 2014 from Hibernian Ladies.

Starting her career at Falkirk Girls, Brown is a Scotland international and represented her country at the recent UEFA Women’s Euro 2017 during the summer.

Upon the news Brown has re-signed, manager Willie Kirk is pleased with the way his squad is shaping up.

The City Women manager added: “I spoke to Frankie before she left for the Euros and at that time we were both open to looking at a few different options.

“On her return from the tournament she has been training hard and I am very pleased that we have agreed to extend her stay at the club.

“Frankie had a great experience at the Euros and added to her vast knowledge of playing at the top level, which will only further enhance her as a player and benefit us as a club.

“I have known Frankie for eight years now and I value her very much as a person and it’s great to know that I’ll be working with her for another season.”
