City Women can confirm today that four players have left the club.
Lily Agg, Katie Jones and Paige Sawyer have all moved on to pastures new, whilst Jodie Brett will not be returning to the club on loan for the upcoming season.
Manager Willie Kirk has thanked all four players for their efforts in a Vixens shirt.
He said: "I’d like to place on record my sincere thanks to all four players and wish them the best of luck for the future.
“With the club being promoted last season, everyone was aware that there would be changes to the playing staff in order to grow and adapt to the modern game and to the demands of WSL 1 football. The Spring Series was a time for me to look at the squad and assess where we were at, it was an invaluable tournament in that respect.
“Special thanks to Jodie Brett who made a major contribution in returning the club back to where we want to be. She arrived on loan from Chelsea and made it her home immediately. Her influence on and off the park was fantastic and being awarded Player of the Year at the end of 2016 season was testament to her efforts."
