Foundation delivers Christmas Holiday Camps

In partnership with Bristol City Council, the Robins foundation provides free holiday camps for young people who are on free school meals in areas of deprivation across South Bristol.

The camps provide young people of all footballing abilities, the perfect opportunity to get active and have fun whilst also developing their footballing skills and making new friends in a safe environment.

The 4 days of activities were run across 4 different venues City Academy School, Merchants Academy School, Hareclive School and Connaught School.

A total of 194 young people attended the camps and 200 warm meals were served each day for free. Foundation staff and 37 volunteers provided 64 hours of safe activities for young people. In addition to the free meals at the camps, the foundation also provided 300 food parcels to families which is the equivalent of 2100 days worth of food.
