Foundation CEO Dan White discusses Rainbow Laces with the EFL

Robins Foundation CEO Dan White spoke to the EFL about the importance of making football welcoming to everyone.

As part of the Rainbow Laces campaign, the EFL hosted its inaugural LGBTQ+ Fans’ Forum on Monday 6th December, providing all 72 Clubs with a platform to discuss how football can become more inclusive. The event was hosted by Sky Sports’ Mark McAdam and included a panel of industry representatives such as David McArdle, Billy Nickison, Catherine Thomas, James Laley, Loo Brackpool, Anwar Uddin, Jehmeil Lemonius and Robins Foundation CEO Dan White.

The forum, which took on a question-and-answer format, saw representatives from Clubs across the three divisions come together to discuss Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces and how they were activating the campaign on Rainbow Laces Day, which is marked for Wednesday 8 December.

Robins foundation CEO Dan White said: "It was a privilege to take part in the first EFL LGBTQ+ forum, and great to hear from the other panelists about the action being taken across the EFL network to promote diversity in our sport."
