Football Seals The Deal For RSG And Cray Super Computers

Football is often described as the global game and that seems to be the case for two companies on opposite sides of the Atlantic, united through a love of Bristol City FC. 

Bristol-based Resource Solutions Group (RSG), main shirt sponsor for the Championship side, has been appointed by Seattle-based Cray Inc. to help staff its European base in the city.

The relationship between the two was helped by RSG’s sponsorship of Bristol City FC. Mike Piraino, Cray’s vice president of general administration, general counsel and corporate secretary had been following the club and took notice of RSG as a new sponsor during the time that Cray was evaluating its recruitment solutions in the UK.


Piraino said: “RSG’s credentials speak for themselves and we are very pleased to be working with them in our new EMEA headquarters in Bristol.

“They have the perfect mix of skills, market knowledge and passion to find us the right blend of people to help grow our business on this side of the Atlantic.

“In addition to sharing our love for local sport, we are looking forward to building the perfect team together to help drive Cray’s growth in the region as well as its global R&D efforts.”
