Aden Flint feels Bristol City’s recent points haul is impressive despite defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion on Tuesday.
Lee Johnson’s side had won three games on the spin before the 4-0 loss against the Seagulls, conceding just one goal before the midweek setback.
Defender Flint’s displays have been key to City’s resurgent form and the defender is excited by the prospect of adding more points against Nottingham Forest tomorrow (3pm).
“To get nine out of the last 12 points available is a fantastic return,” he told Bristol City Player HD.
“Most people wouldn’t have given us many points (in those four games).
“Tuesday was disappointing but we’ve got to pick ourselves up, put it to bed and look to rectify it tomorrow.”
Nottinghamshire-born Flint will be visiting his hometown club’s ground for the first time as a player.
Forest have lost three of their last four encounters, albeit on the back of a 13-match unbeaten streak, and Flint anticipates a good encounter.
He said: “I think Forest will be hurting a little bit, like us, so it’ll be a massive game for both of us which could make it an open and exciting game.
“I have quite a few Forest-supporting friends but if I get them tickets they’ll be sitting in the Bristol City end – so they better be backing me!
“I’ve never played at the City Ground, and I’ve only been there once to watch a game, so I’m looking forward to playing there.”
