Aden Flint has been rewarded with a new contract at Ashton Gate, including the club option of extending the deal until 2021.
The 28-year-old has been in outstanding form for the club this season, scoring eight times in 37 appearances.
Former Swindon defender Flint, a two-time Player of the Year winner in BS3, has now agreed new terms at the club.
Head coach Lee Johnson said: “Aden has been in terrific form this season and this new contract is a reward for his performances and efforts for the team.”
Flint joined the club in 2013 from Swindon Town for an undisclosed fee.
In 2014/15 he netted 15 goals en route to the League One title and Johnstone’s Paint Trophy double success. That included a final day hat-trick against Walsall and a headed effort in a Wembley final against the same opponents.
Flint landed the Player of the Year award in 2014/15 and retained it a season later.
A blistering hat-trick from Siva Naulago fired the Bears to a ninth Gallagher Premiership win of the season at Sixways.
