There was sun, sweat and banter as the players made their eagerly awaited return for the start of pre-season this week.
With fixture release day having been and gone and a pre-season tour to look forward to, now was the perfect time to get the squad back together, with fitness the first topic on the agenda.
The players arrived early on Thursday morning at a sun-soaked Failand for the start of their two full days of tests and workouts.

The morning sessions saw the players put through their paces with high jumps, lunges, hurdles and hamstring strength tests to name but a few of the different tasks, with the squad split into different groups across the various stations.
Come the afternoon as the mercury continued to rise, attentions turned to the grass for the cardiovascular tests.
The players' media duties weren’t forgotten either, with the whole squad able to try on the new kit and training gear, which they modelled for the cameras in the photography studio.
The training ground buzz continued on Friday which saw everything from eye screenings to blood tests and scans as well as a few more photoshoots!
Come Friday afternoon the tests were completed and a sense that the football season is fast approaching was clear.
Now the hard work begins…
