Frank Fielding will miss City’s first game of 2018 after being dismissed against Wolves.
The City goalkeeper was shown a straight red card for a denying goalscoring opportunity, bringing down Matt Doherty in the 63rd minute.
Barry Douglas equalised from the resultant free kick, which deflected past substitute Luke Steele, before Ryan Bennett won it for Wolves in stoppage time.
Fielding receives a one-match ban for his dismissal, to be served when City head to Aston Villa on New Year’s Day (5.30pm kick-off).
Fans are reminded that the Villa Park encounter is SOLD OUT. A beamback will take place at Ashton Gate.
Season Tickets for the 2022/23 campaign are selling at a record pace, with more than 9,000 supporters already committed.
