The pair have returned to training and assistant head coach Dean Holden says their involvement in the camp has been "a big boost."
City have been preparing for their home clash with Sheffield Wednesday this Sunday (1.30pm).
Holden said: "They have just joined us back in training so it’s a big boost to have two big characters back in training.
