Fielding and Baker facing fitness checks

Frank Fielding and Nathan Baker will have to pass fitness tests to face Manchester City tomorrow night (7.45pm kick-off).

Both players were substituted at half-time in City’s goalless draw with Derby County on Friday night.

Goalkeeper Fielding sustained a groin injury, while Baker rolled his ankle in the Sky Bet Championship encounter.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, available on BCTV, head coach Lee Johnson revealed: “Frankie is going for a scan and he’s the biggest doubt at the moment.

“Nathan didn’t train today (Monday) but it is getting better. He’ll need a fitness test in the morning.”

Ryan Kent is eligible to play since signing on loan from Liverpool for the rest of the campaign, but Cauley Woodrow is cup-tied.
