Fans say goodbye to Buster Footman

Supporters lined the roadside as Buster Footman’s funeral procession passed down Marina Dolman Way.

They clapped as the hearse made its way slowly from Winterstoke car park out to Ashton Road, paying their respects for a man heavily involved with the club for over a decade.

The procession passed Ashton Gate on Thursday (June 4th) afternoon. Buster's family intend to hold a celebration of his life at a later date.

Buster, who was heavily involved in various charity efforts, worked in the Royal Marines before he arrived at City in 1988. He spent a decade in the club’s medical department and later he became the first team kit man.
