City supporters have clubbed together to save a fellow fan’s Christmas.
Fan Jerry Smith lost his wallet in the South Stand during last Saturday’s 1-1 draw with QPR and despite appeals, it wasn’t recovered.
Following an internet campaign, 45 fans have donated to a special account, raising £223 in just 48 hours.
It has allowed the £100 to be returned to Jerry by Supporters Club & Trust board member Marie Day, with £15 paying for a new football for Oskar Pycroft.
The rest of the funds will be donated to Children’s Hospice South West, the club’s chosen charity for 2015/16.
Well done to everyone involved!
Season Tickets for the 2022/23 campaign are selling at a record pace, with more than 9,000 supporters already committed.
