Coaches and participants from the Robins Foundation F3 sessions have successfully raised £1000 for Cancer Research UK.
Participants and coaches from Bristol City Robins Foundation's Tuesday evening female football and fitness session (F3) took part in the Bath ‘Pretty Muddy’ event on Sunday, September 22nd to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
The group, made up of: Alena, Bryony, Conrad, Deb, Emilie, Jess, Jodie, Jon, Laura, Louise, Mary and Sue (otherwise known as the F3 Robins) completed the gruelling 5 kilometre obstacle course as a team and showed excellent team spirit all the way around – even when plastered in mud!
The group have so far collectively raised an incredible £1000 - almost double what they initially set out to raise.
F3 participant Deb told the Foundation, “Cancer Research UK is obviously a great cause to raise money for, and as my fitness has improved since taking part in F3, I wanted to challenge myself and see if I could complete the 'Pretty Muddy' race."
The F3 Robins donation page is still running and you can donate by clicking here.
