Gustav Engvall's loan spell at Djurgarden has come to end, with the Stockholm club ending their league campaign third in Allsvenskan.
A 2-0 victory away at Kalmar - where Engvall was a late substitute - booked Djurgarden's place in the Europa League next season.
Engvall spent two separate loan spells back in his home country, either side of City's pre-season training camp in Tenerife.
In total he played 25 times during his loan stint, scoring eight goals.
Engvall will now link up with the Swedish Under-21 side for a match in Hungary on November 10th before returning to Ashton Gate.
