Gustav Engvall fired a hat-trick for Djurgardens IF to take him top of the Swedish goalscoring charts yesterday.
The on-loan City striker was in fine form as his loan club thrashed Orebro 4-0 away from home.
That’s now five goals in seven appearances for Engvall, who is on loan in his home country until July.
Djurgardens now sit second in the Allsvenskan table, while Engvall is joint-top scorer.
The 20-year-old arrived at Ashton Gate in the summer from IFK Gothenburg and has made six appearances to date.
He recently added to his Sweden Under-21 caps, now totalling 12, and hopes to be in their squad for the UEFA Under-21 Championships, where they find themselves in the same group as hosts Poland, Slovakia and England – who could feature Tammy Abraham.
Bristol Bears came up short of another stirring comeback against Wasps, as they fell to a 22-29 defeat at Ashton Gate on Friday.
