Gustav Engvall was delighted to score his first City goal in the Under-23s’ 3-1 win over Ipswich Town on Monday.
The Swedish international striker joined the club in the summer from IFK Gothenburg, arriving on the back of a knee problem.
So far he has featured three times for the first team, while his latest display as part of an experienced development side in Filton on Monday showcased his attacking credentials.
Engvall said: “It’s always good to score goals and it was a perfect day for me on Monday.
“I thought we played well in the second half and I’m pleased with how I did personally.
“Bristol is a great city and I’m loving my time here. The lads have been great and we have a good coach with good staff.
“I just want to play more and more now, that’s my target.”
