Gustav Engvall has agreed a switch to Belgium club KV Mechelen.
He has put pen to paper on a two-year deal, with the option of a further two years.
It brings Engvall’s two-year spell with City to an end. The Sweden Under-21 international arrived in BS3 for an undisclosed fee in 2016, with the 22-year-old striker making nine appearances in a City shirt.
During that time, he has also spent two loan spells with Djurgaardens and most recently fellow Swedish club IFK Gothenberg, who the forward originally departed to join City two years ago.
Everyone at the club would like to wish Gustav all the best for his future endeavours.
The transfer is subject to international clearance.
