Bristol City Under-21 manager Wade Elliott will leave Ashton Gate this summer.
The club is in the process of restructuring its coaching setup and, following detailed discussions, the 37-year-old will depart BS3.
Head coach Lee Johnson said: “I thoroughly enjoyed my brief spell working with Wade. He’s been a fantastic servant for the club and I wish him the very best of luck in his future career.”
Chief operating officer Mark Ashton said: “We’d like to place on record our thanks to Wade for his service, both as a player and on the coaching staff. We wish him all the best for the future.”
Elliott was the club’s skipper in the 2014/15 double-winning campaign, before retiring from playing to take up the role of Under-21 manager.
He made 61 appearances for City, scoring five goals.
