Bristol City’s 2016/17 Sky Bet Championship fixtures will be released tomorrow at 9am.
Lee Johnson’s side will kick-off the new campaign on the weekend of Saturday, August 6th, which will be followed by the first round of the EFL Cup – the draw date for this has yet to be announced.
The newly-branded Sky Bet EFL will have a bumper festive period in 2016/17, with games on Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and Monday, January 2nd.
The final round of Championship matches will come to a close on Sunday, May 7th with the play-off final to be played on Monday, May 29th at Wembley.
City will play in their second successive year in the Championship following their 18th place finish last season.
