Hakeeb Adelakun and Mo Eisa competed in a behind closed doors friendly with Yeovil Town this morning.
The pair completed 90 minutes, which is a significant boost as they continue their return to full fitness.
Head coach Lee Johnson exclusively told bcfc.co.uk: “It was good to see Hakeeb and Mo get a run out and last the full duration.
“Today was Mo’s second outing, after featuring for the Under-23s a couple of weeks ago, while this was Hakeeb’s first involvement in any match action since his injury.
“I thought they both put in a good shift. Towards the end Hakeeb showed slight signs of fatigue, as you’d expect, but you could clearly see the quality within both players as they work towards full fitness.”
City return to Sky Bet Championship action on Saturday (November 3rd) when they travel to Reading.
Johnson’s men will be backed by a sold out away end at the Madejski Stadium and supporters without a ticket are encouraged not to travel.
The Matthew Bromley memorial basketball games will take place from 4pm on Saturday, May 28th at the SGS College Arena.
