There are still a limited amount of spaces available to take part in the NCS summer holiday camps.
Specifically designed for young people in years 11&12, NCS gives young people the chance to have fun, make new friends and learn new skills from a range of Bristolian celebrities like Scott Murray and Ian Downs whilst also helping their community.
With lockdown slowly being lifted everyone from the national organisation to local food banks, charities to corner shops, your neighbours to care homes- is going to need a little more help to get back to ‘normal‘ is going to be.
What if you want to help, but aren't quite sure how to do that? Well, this is your chance to help get the country back to business. You can even decide what your community needs and set up a social action project of your own as well as doing activities such as water sports, escape the room, clip and climb and much more.
However you choose to help; you'll pick up new skills, help rebuild local communities, create positive change and get all of our futures off to a good start.
Bristol City Robins Foundation will be delivering 3, two-week programmes based within Ashton Gate stadium. The first programme commenced Monday 19th of July; while the second programme starts on Monday 2nd of August and the third starts on Monday 16th of August. This NCS programme will cost no more than £50 - bursaries are available.
Robins foundation NCS coordinator Carly Price said,
“NCS offers a really exciting opportunity for you to get out of the house, have some fun and do something positive this summer.
I know that for many young people, life has been put on hold for the past few months but NCS provide the perfect chance to kickstart the rest of your year and do something amazing.”
