Milan Djuric is hoping for another impressive return to the first team, following his comeback from injury.
The striker spent six months on the sidelines in 2017, scoring in his first two matches (against Crystal Palace and Sunderland) as he made his return last October.
However, further groin surgery ruled him out of action between December and last week and he is in line to feature against Ipswich Town at Ashton Gate this Saturday (March 17, 3pm).
Eighth-placed City are pushing for the play-offs and the return of the tall Bosnian could be an important part of that fight.
"It would be good!" Djuric told BCTV when asked if he could make another instant impact after returning from injury.
"It was a great game [when I scored against Crystal Palace] and I remember scoring in the following game at Sunderland too.
"I think now we just have to focus on the last nine games.
"It’s a big game for us against Ipswich because we want to be back in the top six. We have been there most of the season and I hope we win because we need to.
"I hope we play good football for the fans and I hope we can get the three points."
Season Tickets for the 2022/23 campaign are selling at a record pace, with more than 9,000 supporters already committed.
