Loïs Diony will partner Famara Diédhiou in the Bristol City attack against Cardiff City, as he makes his first start for the club.
The Frenchman, on loan from Saint Etienne, has featured four times for Lee Johnson's side this season, with all those appearances coming from the bench.
He is one of two changes for Johnson's side in the Severnside derby, with Joe Bryan also restored to the starting XI.
Loanee Ryan Kent and Jamie Paterson return to the bench, which also features Gary O'Neil. The midfielder could make his first senior appearance for six months, as he returns to fitness after suffering knee ligament damage. He has recently featured in wins at U23 level.
Cardiff City v Bristol City kicks off at 12pm.
Cardiff City: Etheridge, Bennett, Bamba, Connolly, Manga, Ralls, Halford, Feeney, Paterson, Hoilett, Madine. Subs: Murphy, Bryson, Pilkington, Harris, Grujić, Damour, Zohore.
