City and Rovers will meet at Under-23 level in the Central League Cup tonight (Thursday, 7pm kick-off).
Luke Williams’ side will host the blue and white half of Bristol at Weston-super-Mare’s Woodspring Park.
It is the first of two derby games for the development squad, with the two sides due to meet again on December 22nd in the Gloucestershire Senior Challenge Cup quarter-finals (venue tbc).
Entry for tonight’s game costs £5 for adults, with juniors (U16) free.
City won their first Central League Cup group game 2-0 away at Portsmouth.
Supporters are advised that the Highways Authority has just begun the final stages of a new roundabout outside the Woodspring Stadium. Fans will be able to access the stadium until 7pm.
After the match, the only exit will be down Winterstoke Road, following diversions which lead to the A3033. This merges onto the A370 and back to M5.
