Diego De Girolamo has left Ashton Gate after having his contract terminated by mutual consent.
The 22-year-old has spent the first half of this season on loan at Chesterfield, where he has played 18 times, albeit only starting six league games.
He made one substitute appearance for City in August 2016.
De Girolamo, a former Sheffield United attacker, is now free to pursue opportunities at other clubs outside of the transfer window restrictions.
Everyone at Ashton Gate would like to wish the youngster all the very best for his future career.
