📸 Day One: Match recovery

City have started their pre-season training camp at Loughborough University.

And we will take you right with us during the Robinsโ€™ five-day trip to Leicestershire.

๐Ÿ“ Loughborough University scene-setting:

Thursday began with the team who started the goalless draw against Celtic at the High Performance Centre having a recovery session in the gym while the finishers took to the pitches for some ball work.

Lunch was followed by an afternoon walk up Beacon Hill โ€“ one of the highest points in Leicestershire with its spectacular views โ€“ before a โ€˜mildly competitiveโ€™ game of cricket at the base's country park.

Then it was back on the team buses to the campus for dinner before a leisurely evening and early bed, following the early morning arrival after the Celtic match.

Supporters can see even more content via the club's social media channels: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok.
