Curtis Sports & Leisure make community commitment

Local business, Curtis Sports & Leisure, partner with the Robins Foundation to support the community.

The sports and teamwear supplier, have become the latest member of the Robins Foundation’s Shared Duty Club.

The Brislington based business marked the start of the partnership by kindly donating a range of high-quality playing kits to be distributed to disadvantaged young people across Bristol.

Curtis Sports & Leisure supply; sportswear, teamwear, workwear, PPE and school uniforms as well as offering custom logo design, high quality embroidery and printing services for any garment.

Business Development Manager at Curtis Sports & Leisure, Stuart Price, said: “Bristol City Robins Foundation carry out some really vital work in our local community and it is a privilege to be able to help support this through the Foundation’s Shared Duty Club.”

“As an organisation, we are very proud of our ties to the local community and truly understand the importance of businesses doing their bit to help. We regularly donate clothing to homeless charities around Bristol and are looking forward to being able to increase our support for the community by becoming members of the Shared Duty Club.”

SHARED DUTY CLUB

Bristol City Robins Foundation’s Shared Duty Club is an initiative which aims to increase cohesion between the corporate world and the local community whilst also providing the opportunity for sports and young person based organisations to form partnerships with Bristol City’s official charity.

Throughout the year members of the Shared Duty Club are invited to a number of activations ranging from exclusive events through to engagement in community projects.

The Shared Duty Club initiative works with companies to help them implement their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and employee engagement strategies as well as providing voluntary opportunities within the Robins Foundation’s community projects.

The initiative also works to link community organisations together to help raise awareness and share good practice.
