Cundy links up with Cambridge United

Robbie Cundy has joined League Two Cambridge United on a season-long loan with a January recall option.

The 23-year-old arrived at Ashton Gate from Bath City last summer, penning a two-year deal in BS3, with the option of a further 12 months.

Having agreed a short-term loan move to Exeter City, the defender was recalled following a lack of game time after joining the Grecians in pre-season amid interest from a selection of clubs.

Torquay United secured his temporary services in September, with Cundy going on to represent the Gulls 28 times, scoring once.
