Close-season update from Nigel Pearson

Nigel Pearson has given supporters a wide-ranging update as City prepare for next season.

In a 25-minute Robins TV interview the manager covers recruitment, including the futures of Andi Weimann and Danny Simpson, the arrival of Dave Rennie as Head of Medical Performance, and the pre-season schedule.

“It’s important to give our supporters an idea of what’s happening,” said Pearson. “When I was told how many of our fans have renewed their season cards…it’s amazing that we have 12,000 plus. It’s important for them to know that we are doing everything we can to get the foundations right."
