City youngsters head out on loan

Freddie Hinds has linked up with Sky Bet League Two outfit Colchester United on loan until January.

Hinds, pictured, joined the City setup in January 2017, when he arrived in BS3 from Luton Town for an undisclosed fee. He signed a new three-year deal with the Robins in the summer of 2018.

The 20-year-old forward has continued his development with Cheltenham Town, Wrexham and Bath City in the last two seasons and in 2018/19 he helped the Romans reach the Vanarama National League South play-offs alongside Robbie Cundy.

Hinds scored on his Robins debut in the 2017/18 Carabao Cup contest against Plymouth Argyle and scored another superb strike against Watford in the second round.

Academy goalkeeper Lochlan Robertson has also joined Evesham United on a month-long loan. He made his debut in their 2-1 FA Cup preliminary round victory over Harefield.
