City Women Trio Selected For England Women’s U20 Training Camp

Bristol City Women’s Caitlin Leach, Jodie Brett and Eloise Wilson head to St George’s Park for the two-day camp.

Wilson steps up from the U19 squad following in Brett’s footsteps, whilst Leach earns her first call-up since she featured in Mo Marley’s England squad in the U20s World Cup in 2014.

“It’s always good to have players at the club recognised at international level, regardless of age group or country,” said Vixens head coach Willie Kirk.

“Having worked at international level myself, I can appreciate the development opportunity that it offers to players.

“At Bristol City, we are very keen to develop players for England.

“I know that The FA has set some ambitious targets in respect to their standing in the world game, and if we can develop players that are deemed good enough to represent England, then it bodes well for our future as a club.”

The three players start the two-day camp on Monday, August 15th.
