Bristol City Women can confirm the departure of Jasmine Matthews, Yana Daniëls and Jemma Purfield following the conclusion of their current contracts.
Club stalwart Jasmine Matthews departs from the City ranks after nine years of service to the club over two spells.
The centre-back came through the club’s academy in 2011 and would go on captain for the first team and amass close to 100 league appearances for the Robins.
The Belgian international first arrived in the West Country in 2017 and, over two spells with the club, she found the back of the net on six occasions in 69 matches.
The full-back departs after one season with the Robins after arriving from Liverpool in the summer of 2020.
Purfield was an integral cog in the City backline throughout the 2020/21 season, starting on 27 occasions and scoring twice.
Everyone at the club would like to thank Jasmine, Yana and Jemma for their service and contributions on and off the pitch.
England U20 were defeated 36-37 by Ireland courtesy of a late Sam Prendergast penalty in the the Six Nations Summer Series.
