City Women players return after international duty

A number of City Women’s international contingent have returned to the club following their respective international call-ups.

Danique Kerkdijk has returned from her Holland training camp, where the squad defeated Belgium Red Flames 2-1 in a friendly fixture.

Loren Dykes and Charlie Estcourt have also returned to the club from Kazakhstan, where Wales got their World Cup qualifying campaign off to a perfect start with a 1-0 victory in Astana.

Yana Daniels and Julie Biesmans are returning to the club later in the week, as their side prepare to face Moldova tonight in the opening game of their World Cup qualifying campaign.

City Women open their WSL 1 campaign against Chelsea on Sunday (12:30pm kick-off).
