City Women duo involved as young Lionesses hit Kazakhstan for nine

Flo Allen and Lauren Hemp were both involved as the young Lionesses got their World Cup qualifying campaign off to a scintillating start with a 9-0 win over Kazakhstan.

Flo Allen started the game, whilst Lauren Hemp was on the bench.

England had the hosts on the ropes by half-time, going four up before the break.

The second half saw five more goals as there was no let up, in what is a perfect start to a vital block of games in order to qualify for the major tournament which begins next year.

Up next, England face Wales on Saturday, October 21st where the squad will look to maintain their momentum after their opening victory.
