City Women duo involved as the young Lionesses defeat Finland

Flo Allen and Lauren Hemp were involved as England Under-19 defeated Finland 3-1 at the Eerikilla Sports Institute in Helsinki.

The fixture was a friendly, after the squad recently returned from Shymkent, Kazakhstan, where they progressed to the elite round of World Cup qualifying, with an unbeaten campaign against Kazakhstan, Slovenia and Wales in October.

Flo Allen started the game, playing 90 minutes, whilst Lauren Hemp was on the bench.

Hemp scored England's third goal, after coming on in the second half.

The duo have now returned to the club to prepare for the final Continental Tyres Cup group game against Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday, at the Stoke Gifford Stadium (kick-off 5:30pm).

Tickets for the Continental Tyres Cup clash against Brighton are on sale now, buy here – the Vixens need results to go their way and to win by two clear goals to qualify for the next round, so your support will be much appreciated this Saturday!
