City Women draw AFC Wimbledon Ladies in the SSE Women’s FA Cup fourth round

Bristol City Women face an away trip to National League side AFC Wimbledon Ladies in the fourth round of the SSE Women’s FA Cup.

City Women entered the fourth round draw alongside their fellow FAWSL clubs and all fourth round ties are scheduled to take place on Sunday, February 3rd 2019, unless agreed otherwise.

Bristol City Women were knocked out of the FA Cup at the fourth round stage at the hands of Everton Ladies in the 2017/18 campaign, however, the club do have a history of making it to the latter stages of the competition as they finished runners-up in 2011 and 2013.

AFC Wimbledon have been in the competition since the first round and have beaten New London Lionesses, Portsmouth and Hull City LFC respectively to reach this stage of the coveted cup competition.

Tanya Oxtoby’s side will face a trip to Carshalton Athletic to face the National League outfit on Sunday, February 3rd.
