City win seals LMA Performance of the Week

City's 3-1 comeback win against Swansea City on Nigel Pearson's debut as manager has been awarded the LMA Performance of the Week.

Andre Ayew's penalty was cancelled out as Nahki Wells fired City level, before Kasey Palmer scored direct for a corner against his former loan club, with Antoine Semenyo snatching his first league goal in stoppage time.

The League Managers Association’s panel, comprising LMA Chairman Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Joe Royle, Dave Bassett, Barry Fry Paul Ince and Rachel Yankey, has determined the award, in association with Sky Sports Soccer Saturday, should go to the club for their 3-1 victory against Swansea City on Saturday, February 27th.

The experienced and highly distinguished panel has managed a combined total of over 6,500 competitive matches in professional football.

Pearson received a celebratory bottle of champagne, courtesy of Tanners Wines, and an LMA Performance of the Week trophy on behalf of the team.
