City welcome Aston Villa

Bristol City will round off their pre-season fixture schedule against Aston Villa on Saturday, July 31st (1pm KO).

The Premier League side will visit Ashton Gate where Nigel Pearson’s team will be put through their final in-game preparations ahead of the Sky Bet Championship season, which kicks off the following weekend.

Supporters will have the chance to attend the final pre-season match with ticket details to be announced in due course.

The Robins’ first pre-season game comes on Wednesday (July 14th) when Celtic visit the Robins High Performance Centre. After a five-day camp at Loughborough University, City return to the HPC for matches against Portsmouth (July 20th, 2pm KO) and MK Dons (July 27th, 1.30pm KO) - both without supporters present. 

All three matches will be streamed live on Robins TV. Individual £10 passes are available with a bundle £20 offer to stream all three games is also available.

There are also pre-season friendlies away to Exeter City (1pm KO) and Plymouth (6pm KO) both on Tuesday, July 27th before Pearson’s men return to BS3 against Villa.

City’s Championship campaign begins at home to Blackpool on Saturday, August 7th (3pm KO). Tickets for the season curtain raiser go on priority sale to Season Card holders and City Members at 10am on Monday (July 12th).
