Korey Smith will undergo tests to determine the severity of his hamstring injury.
The midfielder limped off just before half-time in the Friday’s 0-0 draw with Burton Albion.
Head coach Lee Johnson told BCTV: “The early assessment is he’s tweaked or pulled his hamstring, which is a real nuisance.
“We are a bit light in central midfield anyway but we’ve got some good young players. We might have to recall somebody, but we will have to see.
“We’ll get him scanned in the coming days to find out how bad it is.”
Giving a further update on the injury front, Johnson added: “We have players to come back: Eros Pisano and Djuric are training again now.
“Matty Taylor shouldn’t be too long after rolling his ankle against Ipswich.”
The Matthew Bromley memorial basketball games will take place from 4pm on Saturday, May 28th at the SGS College Arena.
