City Unchanged Again For Blackburn Clash

Lee Johnson sticks with the same formula that has served his side so well at Ashton Gate as City set their sights on taking a significant step towards survival at Blackburn Rovers (3pm).

Johnson’s men have defeated Wolves and QPR in successive home games, meaning victory at Ewood Park will propel them seven points clear of the drop zone with just three fixtures remaining.

The City starting line-up and substitutes are unchanged for the third match in a row, while former players Derrick Williams and Elliott Bennett both start for the hosts.

Blackburn Rovers: Raya, Nyambe, Ward, Hoban, Williams, Bennett, Lowe, Akpan, Feeney, Mahoney, Gallagher. Subs: Fisher, Brown, Guthrie, Tomlinson, Conway, Emnes, Joao.

Bristol City: Fielding, Little, Flint, Wright, Bryan, Brownhill, K.Smith, Pack, Paterson, Abraham, Taylor. Subs: Giefer, Magnusson, Hegeler, Cotterill, O’Dowda, Tomlin, Wilbraham.

Referee: Mr M Jones.
