City U15s lift Severn Bridge Cup

City's youngsters held their nerve as they beat Cardiff City on penalties to win the Severn Bridge Cup.

The Under-15s group twice fought from behind to lead before the young Bluebirds struck to equalise in the 3-3 thriller.

City converted all five of their penalties, with goalkeeper James Walker keeping out one spot-kick to earn the Robins a 5-4 shootout victory.

It was a lively start with Cardiff racing into a fifth minute lead but for Zak Bell's equaliser just three minutes later.

The hosts would take a half-time 2-1 lead but again the young Robins fought back to 2-2 courtesy of Rohan Nelson. Dylan Lewis then put City ahead for the first time on the hour-mark only for Cardiff to claw their way back with 3 minutes remaining and take the match to penalties.
