Bristol City will face Aston Villa in Portugal as part of their preparations for the 2015/16 campaign.
The clubs will meet at the Estadio da Nora in Albufeira, home to FC Ferreiras of the Portuguese third tier, on Friday, July 17th (6.30pm).
The fixture will be a training match open to supporters free of charge at the 2,000-capacity stadium.
