City are waiting on the fitness of several players heading into Tuesday night’s Sky Bet Championship clash at Preston North End.
Eros Pisano, Bailey Wright, Joe Bryan and Nathan Baker will all be assessed before head coach Lee Johnson decides on his team selection.
Italian defender Pisano completing 68 minutes on his return against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday – his first start for four months after a severe hamstring tear.
“We’ll also have to look at how Eros is because he hadn’t had the benefit of any Under-23 games before playing [against Sheffield Wednesday],” said Johnson.
Wright (knee) and Baker (groin) both missed out against the Owls, while Bryan left the pitch earlier due to a head injury.
Johnson added: “Bailey had an injection in his knee and it’s a 72-hour thing, so he should be okay for Tuesday. We’ll have to see how he and Nathan are come the game.
“Joe took quite a whack to the head and had a big egg on his head, but hopefully he’ll be alright.”
